The old 1947 Dodge Dump Truck that has found "A Resting Place" under these Oak trees here on the Boswell Dairy Farm. The Dodge dump truck was purchased from Curtis Sand, a sand producing operation, just down Hwy 15 from here. Alex Curtis (Curtis Sand) told me this was the first dump truck ever owned by Curtis Sand to haul sand for them. Many years later it was sold to the Boswell's where is saw many more years of faithful service. The Boswell Dairy Farm is one of the best known farms in Greene County, Georgia and operated continually for more than 70 years. Hot Boswell told me that the old truck's brakes failed and it came to rest here under these Oak trees. It has been here ever since.
