Maha'ulepu Beach 2 Sunrise.....by Reid Callaway
Kauai Hawaii Art
This majestic Maha'ulepu Beach sunrise on the South Shore of Kauai, Hawaii has broken the horizon in the distance. Maha'ulepu Beach is a very secluded beach on Kauai. What wonderful aqua blue waters surround the Hawaiian Islands and stretch forth to the farthest horizons in all directions. The clouds on the mountaintops to the left blend with the higher clouds for a wonderful landscape. The rocky coast and shear drop-off of the coastline from where I'm shooting can be seen on the left front in the image. Kauai is one of the wettest places on the planet. A few months ago (2018) Kauai had 27 inches of rain in 24 hours. The flooding on the north shore was destructive to say the least. The aqua waters of the Hawaiian islands are breath taking. The vast Pacific Ocean stretches in all direction from Hawaii. The beach you see here on the left is not easily accessible but all beaches in Hawaii belong to the public and are public accessible.
