The morning I captured this image I could hardly believe my eyes as I ran to different locations to get as many compositions of this, "other worldly" sunrise while it was developing and before it faded. These great sunrise images the Lord blesses us with as photographers always unfold way to quickly and last such a short time. I got up so you wouldn't have to. The wind could have been blowing or the clouds just a little lower and none of this would have been possible. Please enjoy my work, for I try to put what you and I can see in three dimensions with all the colors our eyes can see, onto a flat surface and let you see, in my work, what I have seen.

This sunrise was as the sun is just about to come up. The sky and lake are covered with beautiful reds, blues, golds, yellows and the list goes on.... This is the Kent Walker Farm pond on Walker Church Road in Greene County near Lake Oconee, GA. This is one of my personal favorite images.

Greene County, Georgia lies approximately one (1) hour from Athens, Atlanta and Macon. This area is known for its lush green beauty. Greensboro offers fishing, swimming, boating, beautiful golf courses, and is home to one of America's 20 Hottest Bass Lakes...

Lake Oconee is Georgia's second largest lake and serves as a reservoir for Georgia Power Company's Wallace Hydroelectric Plant. The lake has 374 miles of shoreline with a surface area of 18,971 acres. It is formed by the Oconee and Appalachee Rivers. The lake's height is only 120 feet.

Lake Oconee was formed in 1979 with the completion of Wallace Dam, impounding the waters of the Oconee and Appalachee Rivers. The lake is owned and managed by the Georgia Power company for the purpose of generating hydroelecric power.
The lake was originally rural in nature, a destination for fisherman and nature-lovers, but has become much more important in recent years as a rapidly growing community of luxury home neighborhoods. Lake Oconee is home to some of the most prestigious gated neighborhoods in the southeastern United States
