Old Koloa Sugar Mill Sunset
Kauai Landscape Art
I shot this image as the suns' glow was cast upon the old truck and buildings at the Old Koloa Sugar Mill property south of the town of Koloa, Kauai! The beautiful blue sky and God given clouds with the lush greenery added a great look to this classic HDR truck imagery. This is my favorite HDR image in this series.
The Old Kōloa Sugar Mill was part of the first commercially successful sugarcane plantation in Hawaiʻi, which was founded in old Kōloa town on the island of Kauai in 1835 by Ladd & Company. This was the beginning of what would become Hawaii's largest industry. The building was designated a National Historic Landmark on December 29, 1962. A stone chimney and foundations (not pictured) remain from 1840.
The Fine Art America logo will NOT appear on your purchased image.
