Lanikai Beach Oahu
Hawaii Collection Art
"You get two sunrises today," a young lady told me. It rises once then goes behind some clouds and rises again, she explained. "I had never thought of it that way before". I smiles and she moved on....
I have met some pretty wonderful people along life's path this morning as I shot this beautiful sunrise. If you were one of them, Thank you! I pray you and others will become fans of my artwork.
The two islands on the horizon are the Mokulua Islands, a popular kayaking destination. I tried to put into this Lanikai Beach scene, as many interesting parts for your eyes to feast upon as possible. Sky, clouds, kayaks, palms, islands, ocean, beach, reflections and the grow of the sun... In this one the pastel colors work well together in an image that turned out well beyond my expectations. May you enjoy this for years to come and purchase it for someone you love.
Life Is Not Measured By the Number of Breaths We Take, But By the Moments That Take Our Breath Away!
Lanikai Beach is located in Lanikai, a community in the town of Kailua and on the windward coast of Oahu, Hawaii. The name Lanikai means "heavenly sea." This small ½ mile strip of beach is consistently ranked among the best beaches in the world. The two islands on the horizon are the Mokulua Islands, a popular kayaking destination. Adjacent to Lanikai Beach is a primarily upper-class residential area because of this it is accessible through public beach access paths. Although the beach itself is public property, it is not state land and is not a county beach park like many beaches in Hawaii. There is no public parking lot and the area lacks facilities like restrooms, showers or lifeguards. Parking violations are strictly enforced and access to the beach is made possible between some of the house.
