These barns, silos and irrigation system are in the wheat field with the famed Iron Horse sculpture that is located in Greene County along Highway 15 between Watkinsville and Greensboro, GA.The farm land here has recently be sold to the University of Georgia and the silos have been torn down. In years past at Christmas time, Jack Curtis, would hang a huge star atop the silos that could be seen from Highway 15 which arches its way around this large wheat and/or corn field. Thanks, Jack Curtis for the memories!
