I took this beautiful image of the Kauai's Eucalyptus Tree Tunnel while living on the island of Kauai Hawaii. It is difficult to capture a photograph along the tree tunnel gateway because of the constant traffic on this busy stretch of road between Lihue and Koloa on Kauai, Hawaii. I love the shadows along the road and the light has to be just right to get the true effect of the beauty along this shaded roadway. I pray this image catches your art seeking eye and you enjoy this view for years to come. 😎
Over 100 years ago, Walter Duncan McBride brought 500 eucalyptus trees from Australia to form Kauai's South Shore Tree Tunnel. This one mile stretch is off Maluhia Road (Hwy. 520), a natural gateway to Kauai’s South Shore and the towns of Koloa and Poipu. The Tree Tunnel is on the island of Kauai, Hawaii.
