The Pickle Barrel and the shape of the flatiron style building, caught my attentive eye as I drove in to Chattanooga, TN from Atlanta for a day trip. The Resturant/Bar/Pub is at the corner of Market Street and Georgia Ave in downtown Chattanooga. Four intersections in downtown Chattanooga, TN have this same pie shape or flatiron shape buildings formed by their intersecting streets and are pictured in my photo gallery of Chattanooga, TN.
The cafe is located near Warehouse Row, which makes us a great stop for busy shoppers or hungry downtown workers. The evenings find a range of patrons, from college co-eds to bikers. The first thing to try is the Fried Pickle, the namesake of this cafe. It's absolutely enormous. Juicy burgers and huge sandwiches are the standard fare. Domestic and imported bottled beer and wine is also serve...!
