1947 Dodge Dump Truck
Country Farm Scene Art
"My Back Hurts" found me revisiting an old friend. You see this old Oak tree had fallen perfectly across the bed of my friend an old 1947 Dodge dump truck. Miraculously the old truck wasn't damaged further and if I could have only lifted this tree off of her back with a Bobcat loader, I surely would have. Enjoy!
The Boswell Dairy Farm is one of the best know farms in Greene County Georgia and operated continually for more than 70 years. The 1947 Dodge Dump Truck that has found a shaded resting place under these Oak trees was purchased from Curtis Sand just down Hwy 15 from here. This was the first dump truck owned by Curtis Sand and then sold to the Boswell's where is saw many more years of faithful service. The brakes failed one day and this is where it came to rest. The 1947 Dodge truck has been here now for many years until my artwork sparked renewed interest in this wonderfull...
