A Birdbath Love Story Art
As I passed a neighbors bird-bath this image caught my eye. A prison evangelist friend, Joe Loyal, had seen my image in an email I send out to friends. God began to give Joe a message to proclaim. These leaves had no choice as to where they fell and landed. These leaves fell into this birdbath to make an everlasting story for someone. We as humans, do have a choice as to where and when we fall (into sin). We all fall into sin….. sometimes by accident but most often, on purpose. We choose to sin and go the wrong way. My friend, Joe, began to listen to God's still small voice inside of him as He used this image to share God's Amazing Grace to men in prison. Joe told me later how God had used this image to lead men to Jesus Christ, some in tears. Oh, by the way, several leaves here were from trees that are so far from this birdbath it is almost imposable for them to have landed here. But God... Therefor, to me, this image is "Priceless". God uses such simple faith to save those who believe.
1 Corinthians 1:20-31 says,
20 "Where is the wise man? Where is the scholar? Where is the philosopher of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world?
21 For since in the wisdom of God the world through its wisdom did not know him, God was pleased through the foolishness of what was preached to save those who believe".
