Hot Boswell and I were talking about God and Hot mentioned Bethany Presbyterian's huge oak tree. I had to see the tree again for myself not remembering the old oak when I had spoken for The Gideons some 20 + years ago at this church. I wanted to capture the faithfulness of God Almighty, Bethany Presbyterian Church (relic from 1786) and this Old Oak Tree. You see, God had protected the church and the tree from a recent storm as Hurricane Irma (2017) had passed thru the area two weeks earlier. Its like God held up His hand with this tree to protect Bethany from the storm winds that had blown over many large trees in Greene County. I posted it here in color and B&W for all to enjoy! To God Be ALL the Glory!
Bethany Presbyterian has a long and proud history. It was organized in 1786 with 50 members and is one of the oldest Presbyteria...
