Memphis Tennessee Sign Art
This is a photograph I took of the painted advertisement that appears on the side of the historic Sun Studio in Memphis, TN. You can see this beautiful, giant mural in my other images of Sun Studio!
The world will never be the same because of Sun Studio. Just to think that so many historic music stars have passed thru the door here at Sun Studio. It had to have been an exciting time. think about it.....artists like Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins, BB KIng and Roy Orbison just to name a few.
As I traveled westward on my photo tour across America in early 2018 from Georgia to California then on to Hawaii to live for a season, I just had to stop by this famous studio to capture this image for my collections."The Sun Studio Sign" painted on the brickwork outside the studio was just part of the capture.
